Scope grows quietly
Meetings, revisions and coordination end up in the project, but not in the budget.
For agencies, studios and consultancies, ScopeLedger turns existing time and budget exports into a clear view of which projects are overrunning budgets, losing margin or contain confirmed billable work that has not yet been invoiced. Project files are processed in your browser for the analysis and are not uploaded to ScopeLedger; no sign-up is required.
Time data is enough to get started. Project budgets are optional. Your project files are processed in this browser for the audit and are not uploaded to ScopeLedger; no account is required.
Required: an export from Toggl, Harvest, Clockify or a spreadsheet.
Optional: project, fee, hours budget and rates.
Choose a time export — project budgets are optional.
Many small agencies already have the data they need — it is simply spread across time tracking, project lists and spreadsheets. Month-end then reveals what nobody saw while the project was still running.
Meetings, revisions and coordination end up in the project, but not in the budget.
Billable hours can remain open when time exports and invoicing runs are not reconciled cleanly.
A busy team can still be working on projects with weak or negative contribution margins.
Time data is required. A second CSV with project budgets, fees and rates makes the margin calculation more precise.
ScopeLedger suggests columns automatically. You stay in control of project, hours, cost rates and billing rates.
Projects are sorted by risk. Action and project reports return to your workflow as safe CSV files.
Project files are processed in your browser for the audit. Privacy-conscious product analytics and the separate purchase flow are distinct external data flows.
CSV and TSV contents are not sent to ScopeLedger servers for the audit.
Project, customer and team names from the files are processed in your browser during the audit.
ScopeLedger does not see or store complete card details.
Only a verified Stripe session can unlock Pro.
CSV and TSV exports from Toggl, Harvest and Clockify, as well as your own spreadsheets. ScopeLedger suggests likely column mappings; you can review and change every mapping before analysis.
No. A time export is enough to get started. An additional project file with hours budgets, fees and rates expands the available metrics and makes budget and margin conclusions more reliable.
ScopeLedger does not guess unknown states. If reliable Billable or invoicing status is missing, affected metrics are marked as partial or unavailable instead of being artificially set to zero.
Analysis, grouping and report generation run in your browser. ScopeLedger does not send filenames, project names, client names or time-entry contents to its server. Product analytics and payment are separate data flows.
Free includes the analysis, portfolio metrics, data quality and up to five prioritised projects. While a Pro pass is active, it unlocks the complete project list plus action and project-report CSV exports.
Normal manual use has no audit quota while Pro is active. Fair Use only protects against sharing access, automated high-volume use or technical overload.
No. Week pass, Month pass and Year pass are one-time purchases with fixed durations. Access ends automatically after 7, 30 and 365 days respectively.
No. ScopeLedger is an operational project audit. Its results support budget, pricing and invoicing reviews but do not replace accounting, tax, legal or business advice.
You only need a time export. You can add project budgets, but you do not have to.
